Santa Claude is a generative AI project, showcasing the use of large language models and their especial capability of dealing with natural language.
This project is powered by ☁️ Amazon Bedrock, with the 🧠 Claude 2 model by Anthropic.
Our backend is hosted on AWS Lambda, with API Gateway, and the frontend was built on SvelteKit, and hosted on Amazon S3 distributed by Amazon CloudFront.
This is a simple tech demo, so let's keep it simple: When you send a letter (request) to Santa (our platform), the request is processed by third-party services, hosted in places outside of Australia, for the purposes of generating a response. Any data is kept only for technical troubleshooting purposes.
Generative AI is used to create this site's output, and is openly disclosed. The site is intended as an interesting technical demo, but also prompts discussions around the ethical use of AI in the industry. Care has been taken with testing to produce child-friendly responses, but whether such solutions are totally fit for use by children, or whether the basic premise is ethical is intended for discussion.
This project was developed as a joint collaboration between Stephen Sennett and Fahd Mirza for the Amazon Web Services ANZ team's dev:Ember program.
